Today I proudly made the first donation to Mercy Hospital of 50% of the proceeds from the sale of Claire - Women's Hat pattern during the month of December 2013. The donation was not a large amount - $13.12, but any amount I can contribute to a good cause and good people providing my mother-in-law with excellent care during her cancer treatment is money well spent in my book.
Please remember, and tell others, that 50% of the profits from the sale of this pattern will be donated to Mercy Health System of Maine in honor of the pattern’s namesake, my mother-in-law, Claire, who is bravely battling cancer.
