Knit Pals Community Mixer

At long last, it is finally here and I don't think I could be more excited!

This fall, I'm hosting a virtual community mixer event. The premise is simple. I'm going to dye up two skeins each in a variety of colorways. You register online HERE so that I have a head count and know how many sets to dye. Then, after registration, I open up an exclusive mini shop to the registrants, and you each get to purchase one skein of yarn at 30% off. When I ship your yarn out to you, I'll be sending you the contact information of whomever purchased the skein that matches yours. Likewise, they will receive your contact information. From there - may a new friendship bloom! You'll each have the opportunity to reach out to your "Knit Pal" to email, chat, share and interact as you see fit, with a common colorway as a jumping off point.

Knit Up and Dye Episode 52 - So Much Gratitude!

Double Demos! In this episode, I demonstrate how to make bobbles and I show a sock blank being dyed using a double process - a ruched resist technique, then air brushed and stenciled. I also show off my completed Coexist sock, some available sock blanks, talk about my patronage program and an upcoming exclusive pattern, as well as a kit that will be offered at a discount for my YouTube subscribers. I'm VERY excited to announce I'm starting a Sock Blank Club!

My first club will be three months long beginning in January, 2018. Each month you will receive a 100g/463 yard single knit sock blank of a unique design and colorway. Yup, that's right... each one will be a delightful surprise in your mail, with shipments posting by the 20th of each month.

Mystery Sock KAL

Are you up for an adventure? Nothing too dramatic, I promise. More of a lawn chair adventure really. See, I’m in the mood for a mystery sock knit along. But this time, it’s ALL going to be a mystery… even the yarn.

So, here’s the deal: hand dyed fingering weight yarn in more than sufficient quantity (140g /649 yards), a nearly mindless, not quite vanilla sock pattern in multiple sizes, flexible enough for you to sub your favorite heel/toe into should you wish, worked in the direction you favor (toe up or top down - you pick your path), free shipping, and a four week work along complete with online forum live chats.

Yarns will be offered in themes that indicate a general color family. You will not see the colors until you open your package. For the truly adventurous there will be a “surprise me” option.

This project will be suitable for beach/pool/tv/knit night knitting, however you will need to be able to see your work. This project will be especially pleasurable to process knitters with a big appreciation of hand dyed yarns who enjoy watching colors pass through their hands as they work.

Spaces will be limited. Kits will be available for USD $40.00.

First Frost Lace Weight Yarn Club

First Frost Lace Weight Yarn Club is a 3 month club with shipments starting in December 2015.

The club features two levels:

Level One: Receive 1 skein/colorway per month for 3 months US: $99 / CANADA: $114

Level Two: Receive 2 skeins/colorways per month for 3 months US: $192.75 / CANADA $208.50

Payment arrangements can be made, or you may make a single payment.

Level One: Three Payments of $33 (US) / $38 (CANADA) 

Level Two: Three Payments of $64.25 (US) / $69.50 (CANADA)

Club members will have the option of purchasing additional skeins of their favorite colorways to add to their club. 

US: $31.25/skein CANADA $31.50/skein

• You will pick the colorways you wish to receive.
• ALL prices include shipping.
• You are welcome to order a club membership as a gift.
• You may choose invoicing via PayPal or Private Listing via Etsy.
• Shipments will begin December 5th, and subsequent packages will go out the first week of January and February.
• The club is open to US and Canada only.
• Colorways will not be available to purchase outside of the club until May 2016.

These colorways were designed as a cohesive collection. Each colorway will work in conjunction with every other colorway for beautiful two-color projects.
