Knit Up & Dye Episode 126 New Year - New Plans

Took a couple tries, but here I am. My apologies for the edits - there was a connection issue with my microphone and whole segments were recorded with sound coming and going randomly. Lots of crafting to talk about! Sweaters (plural!), the blanket, a cowl, and a crochet shawl. Come see what's working up!

Privacy Alert Reminder

Okay folks, this is a repost of a blogpost from May 2017, but it is an important one and one that we should all be aware of and pay attention to. We all know that privacy is an illusion in the technical age, but are you aware that there is a free website out there that allows you to look up anyone and get current and past addresses, phone numbers, as well as a list of all relatives and associates? NOT COOL.

The website is TruePeopleSearch.com - go, check it out, but be prepared to feel violated.

Then, do this: REMOVE ME! You don't have to be exposed. You don't have to be at risk. This is a violation of your privacy, and a great tool for anyone looking to steal identities.

Believe it - I'm no longer on it. Neither is most of my family. Searches indicate that minors are not listed.

PSA complete. Soap box vacated. Thank you for your time and attention.

Knit Up and Dye Episode 61 - Investments

I'm slowing returning to knitting, but continuing my physical therapy. I've acquired "Knitting Comfortably - The Ergonomics of Handknitting" by Carson Demers and briefly discuss its content. Quick update on my beading and general chatter. My knitting discussion this episode primary focuses on Classic vs. Trendy and choosing wisely what projects you invest time, effort and money into.

Knit Up and Dye Episode 59 - Breathe In, Breathe Out

Sorry, no demonstration this week, but I do discuss how I document my colorway formulas, give you some great resources for your business supplies and talk about my healing progress and prognosis. Quick sneak peek (spoiler alert) of the subscriber level custom colorway for my patrons and I show off my most recently completed beaded doll.

Knit Up and Dye Episode 50 - Knit Mania

I'm a knitting fool - two pairs of socks, a fingering weight sweater and and fingering weight blanket are on the needles! I demonstrate the Chinese Waitress cast on - if you are looking for a super stretchy short tail cast on, this one is for you.

Messages from the Universe

"If you only knew how many miracles you've already performed, Jessica, nothing would ever again overwhelm you, frighten you, or seem impossible.

Tallyho,

Do you get these? The Universe emails me five days a week, encouraging me to look differently at my situation, life and goals. I love it. The messages are inspiring. The Universe has been talking to me for years now, probably close to fifteen (if you can imagine!).

You too can correspond with The Universe.
